Join a leading brand in Saudi Arabia as an Estimating Manager overseeing the estimating process for large-scale capital projects, including giga projects. This senior role offers the chance to work within a major client-side organization focused on infrastructure and asset developments across the region.

Key Responsibilities

As an Estimating Manager, you will provide leadership and functional oversight to the regional Project Management Team (PMT) and Project Management Consultants (PMC) estimating groups. Your duties will involve reviewing constructability of assets and infrastructure, advising on cost-effective construction methods, and independently assessing capital cost estimates prepared by others. You will also manage the estimating database, ensuring accuracy in unit rates and compliance with established procedures.

Additional responsibilities include participating in project and portfolio risk analysis, conducting both probabilistic and deterministic contingency evaluations, and developing robust capital cost estimates aligned with AACE guidelines. Collaborating with the core knowledge team, you will strive to continuously enhance estimating practices across projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience of 15-20 years in estimating, project controls, and commercial management, with proven success in a leadership estimating role.
• Strong background in developing capital cost estimates, particularly for capital construction projects related to infrastructure and building assets.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with multi-level management and multinational teams.
• Proficiency in English and familiarity with industry-estimating standards including AACE.
• Ability to analyze estimate data thoroughly, from detailed figures to asset-level benchmark comparisons.
• Hands-on experience with estimating software applications and maintaining estimating databases.
• Preferably, 10-15 years of experience in the GCC region’s construction landscape.
