Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Cost Controller to join our team in Bahrain. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the food and beverage sector, capable of managing purchasing, inventory, and operational support efficiently. The position requires a proactive individual who can ensure smooth coordination among suppliers, kitchen, and service teams while maintaining cost controls and accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Oversee the purchasing process by identifying reliable suppliers, comparing quotations, placing orders, and negotiating to achieve the best price and quality balance.
• Manage inventory through regular stock counting, goods receiving, minimizing wastage, and ensuring optimal stock levels at all times.
• Provide operational support to the Restaurant Manager to maintain seamless daily activities.
• Maintain thorough purchase documentation, including invoices and follow-ups with suppliers.
• Perform basic accounting duties such as recording daily expenses, tracking bills, and managing petty cash transactions.
• Identify potential issues related to cost and stock early and propose effective solutions.
• Serve as a communication link between the kitchen, service team, and suppliers to promote teamwork and timely deliveries.

Requirements

• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Malayalam is considered an advantage.
• Preference will be given to candidates from Kerala.
• Availability to join immediately is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a monthly salary of BHD 250. Additional benefits, if any, will be discussed during the recruitment process.
