Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Design Engineer to join our LV Panelboard Manufacturing Company located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This position focuses on designing, documenting, and supporting the manufacturing of various low voltage electrical panels, including MDB, SMDB, MCC, and control panels.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for:

• Designing low voltage panelboards such as MDB, SMDB, MCC, and control panels in accordance with industry standards.
• Preparing detailed single line diagrams (SLD), general arrangement (GA) drawings, and wiring diagrams to facilitate smooth production processes.
• Compiling accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) to support procurement and production planning.
• Collaborating with the manufacturing team to ensure design integrity during production phases.
• Ensuring all panel designs comply with IEC 61439 standards for low voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Between 3 to 5 years of practical experience in the design of electrical panelboards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or equivalent design software to create technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems and components.

Work Environment

This position is based in Dammam, providing the opportunity to work within a dynamic manufacturing setting. The role requires close coordination with production teams to align design output with manufacturing capabilities.
