Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician specializing in Traffic Signal systems to join a leading multinational corporation based in Riyadh. This role focuses on the assembly, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of traffic signal equipment to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow in the city.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves assembling traffic signal cabinets and performing wire termination for various components, including traffic signal controllers, signal indicators, pedestrian pushbuttons, and video detectors. The technician will configure controller and detector settings ensuring full operational functionality. Conducting functionality and operational tests on the entire traffic signal system is a crucial part of the job.

Troubleshooting hardware such as traffic signal controllers, load switches, flashers, MMUs, LSUs, vehicle detectors, and pedestrian crossing indicators will be essential. The technician will also document cabinet settings, test results, and maintain the accuracy of controller database conversions while following standard operating procedures.

Programming traffic signal controllers to download, upload, or modify signal timing plans and participating in acceptance testing for controller database conversions will also be required. Preparing updated intersection signal timing documentation and identifying needs for hardware or wiring modifications completes the scope of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in electronics or electrical engineering or a related field, backed by at least 2 years of practical experience working with traffic signal systems or similar electrical equipment. A strong understanding of assembly, wiring, programming, and troubleshooting of complex traffic signal components is necessary for success in this role.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must possess a transferable iqama and a valid Saudi Arabian driving license to be considered for this position.
