Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records and handling a variety of accounting tasks. Core duties include:

• Recording financial transactions and bookkeeping accurately
• Preparing monthly accounts, financial statements, and management reports
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
• Conducting bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow effectively
• Handling VAT calculations, tax returns, and ensuring compliance with UAE Corporate Tax requirements
• Supporting budgeting efforts, financial analysis, and audit preparations
• Ensuring adherence to UAE accounting standards and regulatory guidelines

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills to excel in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the UAE market
• Good working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax legislation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications
• Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and effective communication
• Professional certifications like ACCA or CMA will be considered a plus
