Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join our team in Qatar. This role is ideal for male candidates aged between 30 and 40 with a background in accounting within the hospitality sector. The successful applicant will manage essential accounting tasks, ensuring precise financial record-keeping while supporting daily bookkeeping activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate bookkeeping, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial documentation. Daily duties include handling invoices, vouchers, journal entries, and performing bank reconciliations to support the company’s financial reporting efforts. Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for efficiently managing financial records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years of accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Must currently reside in Qatar and be ready to join immediately.
