Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Static Planner to join our team in Jubail for a 4 to 6 month contract. The successful candidate will oversee detailed planning activities related to static equipment maintenance within turnaround operations. This role involves developing comprehensive work packages, coordinating with multiple teams, and ensuring efficient execution of maintenance tasks in compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Static Planner will be responsible for creating detailed job plans for static equipment maintenance, collaborating closely with inspection teams to define scopes accurately. Preparing resource requirements, scheduling task durations, and coordinating material and spare parts needs fall within this role. Additionally, the planner will develop lifting and rigging plans for heavy equipment and liaise with operations teams for equipment isolation and decontamination strategies. Updating plans based on inspection outcomes, supporting scheduling activities, and maintaining precise documentation are also essential duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering backed by a minimum of five years of experience in static equipment maintenance and planning. Experience working in turnaround environments is highly preferred. A solid understanding of vessels and heat exchanger maintenance is essential, along with familiarity using planning software tools. Strong technical acumen in static equipment, ability to interpret technical drawings, and knowledge of maintenance procedures are vital.

Personal Attributes

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and precision in planning are required to excel in this position. Excellent communication and coordination abilities are important for effective collaboration across various departments.
