Sterling Parfumes Industries, a leading name in the perfumes and cosmetics sector, is seeking a dedicated Purchase Executive to join their Dubai team. This role focuses on managing international procurement processes to support the company’s manufacturing operations. Candidates with hands-on experience in the fragrance, personal care, or cosmetic industries will find this opportunity especially rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

The Purchase Executive will oversee the complete purchasing lifecycle for international supplies, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement. Key tasks include:

• Handling supplier sourcing, evaluating quotations, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.
• Negotiating favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinating shipping logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and import documentation.
• Procuring essential materials such as fragrance oils, raw ingredients, packaging components including bottles, caps, pumps, cartons, and other cosmetic-related supplies.
• Collaborating closely with Finance, Warehouse, Production, and Quality Control teams for seamless material availability.
• Monitoring supplier performance, costs, delivery timelines, and quality compliance.
• Maintaining detailed procurement records and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess:

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in international purchasing, preferably within perfumes, cosmetics, fragrance, or personal care product manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of overseas supplier management, import procedures, international shipping, and customs clearance.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities supported by effective communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems, with SAP experience considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling procurement of fragrance ingredients, cosmetic raw materials, packaging parts, and other components specific to the perfume and cosmetics industry will give candidates an edge.
