Key Responsibilities

As an AR Developer, you will establish best practices within the team while collaborating with other project leads to create standardized development protocols. You will build interactive applications utilizing mainstream AR toolkits such as ARKit, ARCore, and Vuforia, as well as virtual reality platforms like OpenVR, Oculus, and Daydream. Your expertise with game engines including Unity, Unreal, and proprietary AAA engines will be essential in delivering immersive experiences. Additional responsibilities include integrating 3D asset creation workflows, applying skills in modeling, unwrapping, UV mapping, and texturing using software tools like 3ds Max, Maya, or Cinema 4D.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a software developer with a strong focus on AR, VR, and MR technologies.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as C/C++, Java, JavaScript, and C#.
• Experience with version control systems and collaborative development.
• Solid background working with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other high-end game development platforms.
• Knowledge of 3D asset creation and graphic tools relevant to AR/VR applications.
• Familiarity with Web Services and Mobile App Development, along with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, is an advantage.
• Exposure to IoT technologies including BLE, microcontrollers, RFID, and sensors enhances your profile.
• Capabilities in UX/UI design, creative coding, GLSL shaders, and WebGL implementation.

Educational and Professional Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A solid track record of delivering interactive applications in AR, VR or MR environments is essential.
