Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates with 1 to 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE who are eager to contribute to an expanding organization. The position focuses on managing daily bookkeeping tasks, processing invoices and payments, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate supplier and client accounts. The Junior Accountant will also assist with month-end closing procedures and VAT filing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and manage invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately
• Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain updated accounting records
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy
• Support month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports
• Handle VAT filing in compliance with UAE regulations
• Maintain clear accounts for suppliers and clients

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 to 2 years of practical accounting experience within the UAE
• Proficient use of the 1C accounting software
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Strong attention to detail with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in the construction or contracting sectors will be considered an advantage for this role.
