Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing costing to join our team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG industries. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing production costs, managing inventory valuation, and supporting overall cost control efforts.

Key Responsibilities

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for detailed product costing, managing bills of materials (BOM), and conducting thorough cost analysis. The role requires accurate stock reconciliation, monitoring wastage, and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the accountant will perform profit margin analysis and work closely with the production team to optimize costs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven expertise in manufacturing and product costing techniques
• Strong understanding of inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and variance analysis
• Ability to analyze and interpret production costs and profit margins effectively
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP software
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CMA or ACCA are highly preferred
