AFPC UAE is seeking a motivated Junior / Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Team. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to advance their accounting career within a reputable organization based in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will maintain accurate financial records and manage daily accounting transactions efficiently. Your duties will include handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), preparing and reconciling customer Statements of Account (SOA), and performing inventory, stock, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations. Additionally, you will assist with month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and documentation, while coordinating with internal departments, customers, and suppliers on various accounting issues.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess strong foundational accounting knowledge and proven reconciliation skills. Attention to detail and analytical thinking are essential to succeed in this role. Effective communication, organizational abilities, and multitasking skills are also highly valued. Candidates demonstrating a proactive approach and teamwork spirit will fit well with our collaborative work environment. Experience in FMCG, trading, or inventory accounting will be considered a significant advantage.
