We are seeking a qualified Generator Technician to join our Facilities Management team in Riyadh. This role requires hands-on experience with diesel generator maintenance to ensure continuity and reliability of power systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a solid background in maintaining various generator brands.

Key Responsibilities

The Generator Technician will be responsible for performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators. Duties include diagnosing faults, repairing and maintaining generator engines, control panels and related systems. The technician will conduct load testing and inspect Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) systems. Prompt response to emergency breakdowns is essential to minimize downtime. Accurate maintenance records must be maintained while adhering to safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of proven experience in diesel generator upkeep.
• Practical knowledge of major generator brands such as Cummins, Perkins, and Caterpillar.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair expertise.
• Familiarity with ATS systems and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Technical diploma or vocational certification preferred.
• Basic English communication skills required.
• Candidates currently located in Saudi Arabia are preferred.
