Job Overview

United Engineering Construction (UNEC) is seeking experienced professionals to join their team in Dubai, UAE. We are currently hiring for two critical roles within our finance department: Senior Accountant and Payroll Officer. Candidates with a construction industry background and immediate availability within the UAE will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with applicable standards. The Payroll Officer will manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and precise salary disbursement and related financial recordkeeping.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Senior Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required. CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable. Proficient use of ERP systems, specifically Epromis, is essential. Candidates should have 8-12 years of UAE experience with a preference for Arabic nationals.
• Payroll Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is mandatory. Familiarity with ERP software, especially Epromis, is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience working within the UAE payroll frameworks is expected.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Applicants currently residing in the UAE and ready to join immediately will be prioritized. Experience in the construction sector is considered a significant advantage given the industry-specific accounting and payroll complexities.
