Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance operations of a prominent company within Qatar’s oil and gas maintenance sector. This leadership role involves managing financial reporting, developing effective financial strategies, and ensuring the overall fiscal health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting specifically within the oil and gas or petrochemical industries.

Key Responsibilities

As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the company’s finance function and lead a team dedicated to delivering accurate financial insights. Your core duties will include:

• Producing detailed financial reports including budgets, accounts receivable and payable, and expense tracking.
• Conducting financial analysis and research to support strategic business decisions.
• Advising management and stakeholders on the financial implications of current and future business activities.
• Developing and implementing strategies to reduce financial risk and improve profitability.

Required Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate solid leadership and financial acumen with the following qualifications:

• Qualified accountant credentials such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of hands-on financial accounting experience within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• Proven managerial experience in plant maintenance, shutdown, or turnaround projects for at least 4 to 5 years.
• Ability to lead teams and effectively communicate complex financial information.

Benefits and Compensation

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from QAR 264,000 to QAR 300,000, which includes all benefits. Additionally, a company car is provided as part of the compensation package.
