Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified HSE Engineer or HSE Advisor to join our ongoing water and wastewater project in the Sultanate of Oman. This position is open for Indian and Omani nationals who possess strong experience in health, safety, and environmental management within similar project environments.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety standards and environmental compliance of the NAMA Water Services project. Responsibilities will include monitoring and enforcing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, coordinating safety training sessions, and liaising with project teams to maintain a safe work environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Graduation or diploma in engineering from a recognized institution
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory
• A minimum of 8 years’ overall experience, with at least 4 years in a similar HSE role related to water and wastewater projects
• Valid driving license from Oman or other GCC countries is preferred
• Strong understanding of local and international safety regulations and best practices

Candidates must be ready for immediate joining and demonstrate a proven track record in managing HSE responsibilities effectively within the water and wastewater sector.
