SpecTech Qatar is seeking a qualified Lifting Engineer for an immediate one-month contract based in Dukhan, Qatar. This role requires a certified professional skilled in conducting site surveys and preparing detailed lifting studies in compliance with QatarEnergy standards. Key Responsibilities

The Lifting Engineer will be responsible for performing comprehensive site surveys and developing lifting plans and method statements according to project and industry specifications. This includes selecting appropriate cranes and conducting precise lifting calculations to ensure safe and efficient operations. The role demands coordination with project teams to ensure compliance with QatarEnergy, QatarGas, or Aramco lifting regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Certified Lifting Engineer with expertise in site survey execution and lifting study preparation
• LEE A certification strongly preferred or required
• Proven experience in rigging and heavy lifting engineering projects
• Ability to prepare and review lifting method statements
• Expertise in crane selection and performing accurate lifting calculations
• Familiarity with lifting standards from QatarEnergy, QatarGas, or Saudi Aramco
• Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred
• Proficiency with lifting-related software such as AutoCAD and Lift Planner

Work Environment

This short-term assignment will be based at Dukhan, a key industrial hub in Qatar. The candidate should be prepared to work on site, coordinating closely with on-ground teams and adhering to strict safety protocols and industry standards.
