Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Chief Accountant to join our reputable trading and automotive company based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience managing financial operations in compliance with local Saudi tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and facilitating audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Accountant will be responsible for leading the accounting department to ensure adherence to Saudi Zakat and tax regulations. Key duties include preparing comprehensive financial statements, overseeing VAT, withholding tax (WHT) compliance, and coordinating audit activities. The role also involves liaising with internal teams and external auditors to guarantee accurate and timely reporting.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 10 to 15 years of accounting experience within Saudi Arabia, preferably within the trading or automotive sectors
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Zakat, VAT, WHT, and overall tax compliance requirements
• Proven track record of preparing and managing audit reports in coordination with auditors
• Strong analytical and leadership skills to manage accounting operations effectively
• Immediate availability to join is essential
• Possession of a transferable Iqama is mandatory
• Preference given to candidates holding Indian nationality
