Job Overview

ITB Logistics & Transportation is seeking two experienced Customs Clearance Specialists to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing customs documentation, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and coordinating the smooth clearance of shipments through Saudi customs systems.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and verifying essential customs paperwork such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and COC/PCoC certificates. They will handle customs declarations using FASAH and SABER platforms, follow up on customs duties, VAT payments, cargo inspections, and facilitate timely release of shipments.

Additionally, coordination with customs brokers, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and port authorities is crucial to ensure seamless operations. Monitoring shipment clearance statuses and promptly troubleshooting any customs-related issues will also fall under their purview. Maintaining meticulous records and documentation of all clearance activities, as well as liaising with the transportation team, helps guarantee on-time cargo delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi customs regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in operating FASAH and SABER customs systems.
• Fluent Arabic speaker with good English communication abilities.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and handling detailed documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage urgent shipments efficiently.
• Valid Saudi Iqama is preferred, with transferable sponsorship considered an advantage.
