Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Engineer to join our team in the steel industry, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing precise technical drawings and layouts to support the fabrication and installation of steel plant equipment and structural systems. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to deliver drawings that meet engineering and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

The AutoCAD Engineer will create and update detailed 2D and 3D drawings for a variety of industrial elements including machinery, structural steel components, conveyors, cranes, scrap handling equipment, furnaces, and duct systems. This includes developing General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, and assembly drawings in accordance with engineering design requirements.

Additional duties include modifying existing drawings based on site conditions and engineering revisions, coordinating with mechanical and project engineers to ensure design feasibility, maintaining accurate documentation and revision control, and assisting with the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM) and other technical documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD software for both 2D and 3D drafting.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication and structural engineering principles.
• Experience collaborating with mechanical, civil, and production teams.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Skilled in maintaining detailed and organized drawing records with version control.
