Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Quality Control (QC) Inspector with expertise in static equipment to join a dynamic team based in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plant construction focusing on static equipment such as columns, heat exchangers, vessels, tanks, and flare stacks. This role requires a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in inspection and quality assurance to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical QC Inspector will be tasked with verifying the quality and integrity of static mechanical equipment throughout the construction phase. Primary duties include:

• Conducting thorough inspections of columns, heat exchangers, vessels, tanks, and flare stacks to identify any defects or deviations from design specifications.
• Ensuring that all equipment complies with project and regulatory standards.
• Reviewing fabrication and construction documentation related to static equipment.
• Collaborating closely with project engineers and contractors to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Maintaining accurate inspection records and preparing detailed reports as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• API 510 certification is mandatory, demonstrating proficiency in pressure vessel inspection.
• Proven experience in mechanical plant construction with a focus on static equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical codes and standards relevant to pressure vessels and static equipment.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with project team members.
