Job Overview

LinkCo (Al Rawabet Commercial Services & Contracting Co. W.L.L.) is seeking a skilled Procurement Officer / Engineer specialized in MEP to join their team in Doha, Qatar. This role involves managing comprehensive procurement processes for projects within the Facility Management, MEP, and Maintenance sectors. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation abilities and a proactive approach to optimizing procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement cycle from start to finish. This includes sourcing reliable suppliers, obtaining and evaluating competitive quotations, negotiating favorable prices and delivery terms, and issuing purchase orders. Coordination with internal project teams, stores, and vendors ensures timely and efficient delivery of materials. Maintaining accurate procurement documentation, tracking orders, and identifying cost-saving opportunities are essential parts of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably within Facility Management, MEP, or Maintenance sectors.
• Excellent negotiation skills with proven vendor management experience.
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools to manage procurement records effectively.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo is a plus.
• Applicants must be local residents of Qatar.
