Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and dependable Female Accountant to join our team in Bahrain. This role focuses on managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in sales reconciliations, and supporting payroll activities for a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise accounting records and handling accounts payable and receivable. Key duties include performing regular bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies promptly.

You will also verify retail sales reconciliations for various shops and kiosks, cross-checking daily sales reports against POS systems, cash collections, and bank or card payments. Monitoring sales inconsistencies and working closely with store teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting is crucial.

Additional responsibilities include preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and detailed financial reports. The role involves assisting with monthly payroll preparation and salary processing, along with maintaining thorough documentation of all financial records. Support in inventory management through stock reconciliation and related reporting will also be part of the daily tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Previous accounting experience, especially in the retail sector, will be an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software are essential. Strong expertise in bank and retail sales reconciliation processes is required, alongside excellent numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities.

Attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines are critical for success in this role. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Bahrain.
