Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) division of a prominent company specializing in large-scale, complex mega projects across the region. This senior leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, managing key executives, and driving business growth with full profit and loss accountability.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will manage the overall delivery and quality of MEP services, ensuring projects meet high standards and timelines. Responsibilities include:

• Leading daily operations of the MEP business unit and managing senior managers and executives.
• Owning Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility and formulating strategies for business expansion.
• Setting performance goals for teams and individual direct reports.
• Coordinating effective communication of strategic goals and outcomes to the Board of Directors.
• Maintaining strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Required Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 15 years of overall experience in site-based roles on the contractor side, demonstrating extensive leadership capabilities.
• A minimum of 5 years managing an MEP division with responsibility for P&L and business performance.
• Proven track record within the GCC region, understanding local market and regulatory environments.
• Strong strategic thinking coupled with operational execution expertise.
