Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bid and Estimation Manager to join our Finance Department in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will lead the preparation and management of competitive bids within the catering and support services industry. You will ensure our proposals align with company objectives, comply with local regulations, and deliver profitable outcomes while adhering to strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

As the Bid and Estimation Manager, your duties will include:

• Identifying and evaluating bid opportunities that match company growth targets.
• Developing effective bidding strategies to showcase our offerings and attract high-profile clients.
• Accurately estimating project costs by analyzing contractor and vendor proposals.
• Preparing detailed, comprehensive bid packages and proposals.
• Managing the entire bidding process to ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and legal requirements.
• Conducting risk assessments to identify potential technical and commercial challenges.
• Negotiating with procurement teams, vendors, and contractors to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
• Collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, and internal teams to collect vital information and respond promptly to client inquiries.
• Keeping abreast of market trends and industry developments to maintain innovative and competitive bids.

Required Skills and Competencies

Successful candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders, clients, and team members. Exceptional negotiation abilities are crucial to secure optimal pricing and contract terms. Analytical thinking will help assess complex bids and determine their alignment with client needs, while problem-solving skills are essential to adapt proposals and resolve any conflicts. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• 7 to 9+ years of proven experience as a Bid Manager or Bid Writer, particularly within the catering industry.
• In-depth knowledge of catering and support services sectors.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian procurement laws and local regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside expert research and organizational capabilities.
