Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Accountant to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Foodics POS and Zoho Books ERP systems, alongside a solid understanding of local accounting standards and VAT regulations. This role offers a competitive salary package ranging from 3000 to 3500 SAR.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout. Core duties include:

• Processing all accounting transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
• Reconciling sales data from Foodics with Zoho Books and corresponding bank statements
• Handling accounts receivable and accounts payable efficiently
• Maintaining precise inventory accounting, managing stock adjustments, and calculating cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Preparing VAT reports in alignment with Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements
• Conducting regular bank reconciliations and ensuring smooth month-end closing procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Practical accounting experience within Saudi Arabia’s business environment
• Proficiency in using Zoho Books ERP and Foodics POS system is highly preferred
• Sound knowledge of Saudi VAT laws and ZATCA compliance standards
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and coordination abilities
• Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Jeddah to ensure seamless integration with the team
