Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician for a short-term contract position located at Tower 121, The Pearl, Qatar. The contract runs from mid-October 2026 to December 31, 2026. This role requires dedication to maintaining electrical systems in a high-rise building environment, working 10 hours a day, six days a week. Food, accommodation, and transportation are provided as part of the benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining various electrical components including distribution panels, lighting systems, generators, UPS units, and emergency lighting. The role also involves executing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure all electrical installations operate safely and efficiently. Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS) and supporting overall building services is essential. The technician must comply with electrical safety standards and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures rigorously. Responding promptly to emergency callouts is a crucial aspect of this position.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least three years of proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within high-rise building projects.
• Solid knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in managing electrical distribution panels, lighting setups, generators, UPS systems, and emergency lighting.
• Experience working with BMS and familiarity with building service electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and LOTO procedures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to handle emergency situations promptly.
