Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer with 7 to 8 years of experience in oil and gas or industrial projects to join a reputed company in Qatar. This position is open to local candidates only and requires hands-on experience in shutdown operations and fabrication work.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing manpower according to the client’s schedule, ensuring project deadlines are met efficiently throughout the shutdown period. Proficiency in project management software such as Excel, Primavera, and SAP is essential to oversee planning and reporting activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7-8 years of relevant experience in oil & gas or industrial projects
• Proven experience with project shutdowns – this is mandatory
• Hands-on fabrication experience is a must
• Strong skills in managing manpower aligned with client requirements
• Proficiency with Excel, Primavera, and SAP software tools

Working Conditions and Benefits

The role involves working 9 hours a day, 6 days a week. The employer offers two compensation options: a basic salary of QAR 7,000 with accommodation, food, and transport provided, or an all-inclusive allowance of QAR 3,000. Additionally, employees are entitled to one month of paid annual leave after completing one year with the company.
