Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QAQC Inspector specializing in piping systems for a short-term project based in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The role demands someone with a solid technical background and expertise in quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of piping systems, identifying and resolving quality issues, and ensuring that all work adheres to company and regulatory standards. Maintaining accurate documentation and effectively communicating findings to project stakeholders are also essential duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in QA/QC inspection specifically with piping systems.
• Strong familiarity with ASME and API codes and standards.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with project teams.
• Relevant quality control or inspection certifications such as CSWIP or AWS are advantageous.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must be freelancers residing locally in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID. The position is immediate start with an initial contract duration of three months, which may be extended based on project needs.
