Job Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals for multiple critical roles in high voltage direct current (HVDC) testing and commissioning projects across Saudi Arabia’s Central, Western, and Southern regions. Immediate mobilization is required for these positions, which include Work Permit Receiver (WPR), Work Permit Issuer (WPI), and C1 & C2 category Electrical Engineers approved by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) or Saudi Energy authorities.

Key Responsibilities

The Work Permit Receiver will be responsible for managing and executing the work permit system, ensuring all procedures comply with SEC standards. The Work Permit Issuer will control, issue, and oversee work permits related to electrical, substation, HVDC, and commissioning activities. Meanwhile, the C1 and C2 Electrical Engineers will focus on the testing and commissioning of HVDC converter stations, including equipment validation, protection systems, and control frameworks in line with regulatory requirements and project specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid SEC or Saudi Energy approved WPR, WPI, C1, or C2 Cards/Certificates.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering for C1 and C2 Engineer positions.
• Strong practical experience with Testing and Commissioning in HVDC converter stations and substations.
• Thorough knowledge of work permit systems and processes.
• Familiarity with HVDC systems, protection, control, and commissioning procedures.
• Previous involvement in SEC or Saudi Energy HVDC or substation projects is highly desirable.
• Valid Iqama and necessary documentation for working in Saudi Arabia.
