Job Overview

We are urgently looking for a Senior Cost Control Engineer to join a critical ARAMCO industrial coating project based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing all financial aspects of coating projects to ensure execution within budgetary limits, adherence to project schedules, and full compliance with ARAMCO standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Cost Control Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed project budgets, tracking daily and weekly expenses, and verifying manpower and material consumption. Analyzing cost performance relative to planned progress will be essential. The role also includes maintaining strict documentation such as inspection logs, quality control reports, and cost-justification records in line with ARAMCO’s approval procedures.

Additional duties involve preparing consistent financial reports, forecasting cash flow, identifying potential cost overruns early, and recommending corrective measures. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, engineering, QA/QC, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and alignment with actual site operations. Assessing risks, evaluating cost impacts of variations, and conducting audits to assure contractual compliance are also integral to this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A qualified candidate should have 7 to 10 years of experience specifically in cost control for industrial coating projects, with a strong familiarity with ARAMCO procedures. Proficiency in project management and cost control software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems is required. A solid understanding of coating systems and related standards like NACE/AMPP is essential.

Excellent analytical abilities, strong communication skills, and outstanding organizational talents are important for success. Preference will be given to professionals experienced in specialized coating applications, including tanks, pipelines, and structural steel.
