Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations for multiple companies based in Qatar. This hands-on role requires managing financial processes, supporting a team, and delivering insightful financial reporting and analysis to assist management decision-making. Candidates must be ACCA qualified or CA part qualified with a strong background in accounting and auditing.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the full scope of accounting activities across entities, including monthly and annual financial reporting. You will supervise the accounting team while actively engaging in day-to-day accounting tasks such as reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow monitoring, and month-end closing procedures. The role also involves liaising with auditors during external audits, preparing detailed financial analyses, and generating management reports to highlight revenue, expenses, profitability, and overall financial health.

Required Skills and Experience

• ACCA qualified or CA part qualified certification.
• Between 4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of audit experience, preferably with multiple company portfolios.
• Proven experience supervising or supporting an accounting team in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and other analytical tools.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights.
• Hands-on approach to accounting is essential.
• Experience working within Qatar or the GCC region is highly preferred.
• Immediate availability to join is required.

The position offers a competitive monthly salary range from QAR 7,000 to 10,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
