Al Khalaf Group is seeking a knowledgeable and commercially focused Corporate Lawyer to join their legal team in Qatar. This role offers the chance to provide comprehensive legal support across corporate and commercial matters, ensuring business operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Corporate Lawyer will be responsible for delivering expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial issues. Core duties include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, MOUs, and other vital legal documents. The candidate will oversee corporate governance, maintain company policies, and manage essential legal records. They will provide guidance to management regarding legal risks and propose effective solutions. Collaboration with external legal advisors, government bodies, and relevant stakeholders will also be part of the role. Additionally, the lawyer will support dispute resolution and litigation processes when necessary, while staying updated on legislative changes that may impact the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, with additional legal qualifications considered a plus
• Proven experience as a Corporate or Commercial Lawyer, preferably within Qatar or the GCC region
• In-depth understanding of corporate and commercial law
• Strong skills in contract drafting and negotiation
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and deliver practical business-oriented advice
• Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous
