Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Buyer specializing in the fashion and lifestyle sectors to join our team in Qatar. This role demands expertise in international buying and retail within the GCC market. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for trends, and the ability to manage supply chain and logistics efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for fashion and lifestyle products with a focus on international and GCC retail markets.
• Analyze market trends and forecast upcoming industry developments to maintain competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Utilize advanced Excel and data analysis tools to track buying patterns and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with the visual merchandising team to align buying decisions with store displays and customer preferences.
• Travel flexibly as required to attend supplier meetings and trade exhibitions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven international buying experience in fashion and lifestyle segments.
• Solid background in GCC retail buying practices.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics.
• Expertise in trend forecasting and market analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel and data management.
• Experience with visual merchandising principles.

Minimum educational qualification: Any degree.

Work Environment

This position is based in Qatar and requires the candidate to be locally available with a transferable visa. We prefer immediate joiners who can quickly adapt to a dynamic retail environment.
