Job Overview

Agility Engineering & Contracting Co. LLC is looking to hire a skilled Stakeholder Engineer to support critical infrastructure developments in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on managing relationships with multiple authorities and ensuring all necessary permits and approvals are secured to facilitate smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

The Stakeholder Engineer will be responsible for maintaining effective communication and coordination with government bodies, utility providers, and military departments. You will oversee the acquisition of No Objection Certificates (NOCs), work permits, utility clearances, and competency certifications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will review project documentation such as drawings, method statements, and layouts to identify stakeholder impact and permit obligations. Collaborating closely with authorities including TAQA Transmission, TAQA Distribution, ADNOC, municipalities, police, and military departments will be essential. The role also includes managing permits, scheduling site inspections, handling utility diversions, and providing regular progress reports to the project management team.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 8 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on stakeholder management, permits, and authority coordination within infrastructure or utility projects.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority regulations and permit-to-work systems.
• Familiarity with authority online portals and document management processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
• Possession of a UAE driving license is preferred.
• Proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
