Job Overview

MYLA Contracting W. L. L is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer or Quantity Surveyor with 3 to 10 years of extensive experience in civil construction. The role involves working on high-rise buildings and villa projects within the Kingdom of Bahrain. Candidates available for immediate joining and those with locally transferable visas are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering activities on site, coordinating construction teams, and providing technical guidance throughout project phases. Duties include supervising the work of foremen and site engineers, managing daily progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and utilizing AutoCAD for project planning and execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3-10 years of proven experience in civil construction, specifically in high-rise and villa developments.
• Strong supervision skills with prior experience as foreman, site engineer, or supervisor.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Valid Bahrain or GCC light vehicle driving license is mandatory.

Work Environment

This position is based in Bahrain, and candidates must be prepared to work under client supervision with direct involvement in construction site activities. The role requires effective communication and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
