Job Overview

A prominent hotel group based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a skilled Area Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of several properties. This role plays a crucial part in aligning financial strategies with the ambitious goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, driving growth while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency across the hospitality portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate and standardize financial reporting across multiple hotel properties to provide accurate and timely insights.
• Lead budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and cash flow management to optimize profitability.
• Enhance internal control procedures in key areas including food and beverage, procurement, and payroll to mitigate risks.
• Oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) initiatives, ensuring investments deliver strong returns.
• Monitor and improve vital performance indicators such as Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR), Gross Operating Profit Per Available Room (GOPPAR), and Flow-Through.
• Ensure complete adherence to Saudi tax regulations, including Zakat, VAT at 15%, and phase 2 e-invoicing requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience managing finance operations across multiple hotel properties.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s financial regulations and tax frameworks.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with exceptional leadership and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage the financial complexities arising from seasonality and diverse operational environments within the KSA hospitality sector.
