Job Overview

Royal Technology Solutions (RTS) is seeking a seasoned Senior Solution Architect specializing in ICT solutions to join their dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on designing and delivering robust ICT infrastructure solutions while actively supporting pre-sales efforts and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will lead the architecture and pre-sales activities related to ICT infrastructure. Your duties include analyzing tender and customer requirements to craft effective infrastructure designs aligned with industry standards. You will provide expert technical consultancy throughout the sales cycle, spearhead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives, and conduct compelling product demonstrations. Collaborative teamwork with sales, technical, and service units will be crucial to develop tailored customer solutions and identify new business opportunities. Additionally, you will mentor and guide the ICT pre-sales engineering team to strengthen their capabilities.

Technical Expertise Required

• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, IPS/IDS, wireless networks, and IP telephony
• Experience with data center infrastructure and multi-tier architecture design
• Proficiency in servers, virtualization, storage solutions, and data backup mechanisms
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage, data replication, and disaster recovery strategies
• Cloud technologies encompassing IaaS, PaaS, as well as private and government cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with microservices and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT, or related disciplines and have at least 10 years of experience in ICT infrastructure, pre-sales, or solution architecture roles. Professional certifications such as CCNP or CISSP will be considered an advantage. Strong communication and presentation skills combined with the ability to provide expert technical consultancy and drive solution sales are essential for success in this position.
