Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at QICC in Mesaieed, Qatar. This permanent position focuses on the maintenance and repair of cable manufacturing drums, essential components in our production process. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of carpentry experience and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

The Carpenter will be responsible for inspecting cable manufacturing drums regularly to identify and perform necessary repairs, ensuring they remain in optimal condition. Adherence to all safety standards and procedures is crucial, along with prompt reporting of any issues or incidents to supervisors. Additionally, the role involves participating in SQDCE (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Environment) meetings to support ongoing improvement efforts and assisting with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years practical experience in carpentry.
• Ability to communicate in basic English.
• Strong sense of professionalism and good moral character.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
