We are urgently seeking a skilled Instrument Technician with extensive experience to join a reputable project based in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly those who have worked on Operations and Maintenance (O&M) projects. The position demands a freelance commitment with a strict duty schedule and requires immediate availability.

Key Responsibilities

The Instrument Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability of instrumentation systems used in oil and gas operations. Duties typically involve installation, calibration, testing, and routine maintenance of various instrument controls to support operational efficiency and safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 7 years of proven experience working in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in Operations and Maintenance projects is highly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge in handling instrumentation equipment and systems.
• Ability to work independently as a freelance technician.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to instrumentation.

Requirements

• Valid Qatar ID (QID) and passport are essential for employment.
• Availability to start immediately will be considered an advantage.
• Must be willing to commit to 10-hour duty shifts.
