Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aluminum Fabricator to join our production team in Bahrain. This role centers on precision fabrication and assembly of aluminum components used for architectural and structural projects including doors, windows, curtain walls, storefronts, and cladding systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in interpreting technical drawings and operating fabrication machinery safely.

Key Responsibilities

The Aluminum Fabricator will be responsible for the complete fabrication process, which involves:

• Selecting, measuring, and marking aluminum profiles based on detailed cutting lists and blueprints.
• Operating machinery such as mitre saws, CNC routers, punch machines, and copy routers to accurately cut and machine aluminum components.
• Assembling parts precisely using mechanical fasteners, corner cleats, screws, and adhesives to create durable connections.
• Installing functional hardware including locks, hinges, friction stays, rollers, handles, and multipoint locking systems to finished products.
• Applying glazing components like rubber gaskets, weatherstripping, and structural silicone seals to ensure tight and weatherproof assemblies.
• Conducting thorough inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and surface quality against technical drawings.
• Identifying and reporting any defects or damage prior to moving products into packaging or installation.
• Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure workplace efficiency and safety.
• Maintaining a safe, organized work area and adhering to all workshop safety standards, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This position demands technical proficiency and physical capabilities, including:

• Strong ability to interpret 2D fabrication drawings, assembly diagrams, and architectural sections.
• Experience handling hand tools, pneumatic devices, and heavy workshop machinery such as double-mitre saws and crimping machines.
• Excellent measurement skills with precision to millimeters and accurate angle cuts (45° and 90°).
• Familiarity with aluminum architectural systems including thermal break and non-thermal break profiles, as well as sliding, casement, and curtain wall systems.
• Attention to detail and dedication to craftsmanship.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and manipulate heavy aluminum and glass units.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors.

Experience and Educational Requirements

The successful candidate should have at least 2 to 3 years of hands-on aluminum fabrication experience, preferably within fenestration or architectural glazing sectors. A technical diploma, apprenticeship, or relevant vocational training will be highly valued.
