Trust Arabia is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Control Engineer (QA/QC Engineer) to join their team in Qatar. This long-term position focuses on the wastewater and drainage sector, requiring at least 10 years of relevant industry experience. The role involves overseeing quality management processes and ensuring compliance with international standards for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for reviewing quality plans and inspection test plans to ensure project requirements are met. Conducting thorough inspections of contractors’ work and performing quality audits are essential aspects of this role. You will also address and resolve any non-conformities that arise, while preparing detailed QA/QC reports. Additionally, conducting readiness audits for the rainy season and handling asset inspections during project handovers are key duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, complemented by recognized qualifications from North America, Western Europe, or Australia. Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 quality management systems is required. Chartered membership in QA/QC is preferred. The role demands physical fitness to work in confined spaces and the ability to undergo competency assessments. Strong verbal and written English communication skills are essential, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
