Trust Arabia is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to join their team in Qatar’s wastewater and drainage sector. This long-term position requires a professional with extensive experience in quality management, ensuring projects meet rigorous standards and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in reviewing quality documentation, conducting thorough inspections, and managing quality audits to uphold project integrity.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance and Control Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining high standards across all project phases. Core duties include:

• Reviewing quality plans and inspection test plans to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Inspecting contractors’ work on-site and conducting comprehensive quality audits.
• Identifying and resolving non-conformities through detailed QA/QC reports.
• Carrying out rainy-season readiness audits and overseeing asset handover inspections to ensure operational reliability.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Professional qualifications from recognized regions such as North America, Western Europe, or Australia are preferred. Experience in implementing ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 quality management systems is essential. Chartered membership in QA/QC is highly desirable. Candidates must be fit for confined space work and able to undertake competency assessments. Proficiency in English communication is required, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.
