Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer specializing in Telecom, Instrumentation, and Control (TIC) to join our team in Kuwait. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge in industrial instrumentation and control systems, ready to take on leadership in technical compliance, system integration, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will lead TIC engineering efforts, ensuring adherence to technical standards and timely delivery of project milestones. Your duties will include reviewing designs for instrumentation, distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and network infrastructure. You will coordinate with suppliers and engineering teams through the supply chain to facilitate system integration and conduct thorough technical evaluations. Planning and overseeing factory and site acceptance testing will be essential, along with supporting commissioning activities, troubleshooting, and smooth project handover.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation, control, electrical, or electronics engineering.
• Solid experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA systems, instrumentation, input/output databases, and industrial network interfaces.
• Strong proficiency in design review, system integration, and producing clear English technical reports.
• Knowledge of operational technology cybersecurity and functional safety is highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and control projects, including a minimum of 3 years in a technical lead role. Proven track record in vendor system integration, delivery through commissioning phases, and preferably experience with water or utility projects is required.
