Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Process Lead Engineer specializing in water and utility processes to join our team. In this leadership role, you will oversee the design and implementation of water, wastewater, and utility-related process systems, ensuring high standards of technical excellence and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As the Process Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the design of water and wastewater treatment processes, including preparation of design bases, mass balances, and detailed process flow diagrams.
• Developing piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), defining equipment specifications, and establishing operating and control philosophies.
• Coordinating interdisciplinary inputs involving chemical dosing, hydraulic analysis, mechanical systems, and control interfaces.
• Reviewing and integrating specialist supplier designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conducting process risk assessments and participating in commissioning activities including performance testing and preparing operational documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related discipline combined with proven expertise in process design:

• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, process hydraulics, equipment sizing, and P&ID development.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating with suppliers and producing clear technical documentation in English.
• Familiarity with wastewater treatment, chemical dosing programs, and chlorine dioxide systems is preferred.

Experience

Applicants should bring at least 10 years of relevant experience in water and utility process engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role focused on process design. Experience in detailed engineering design, supplier package integration, and supporting commissioning activities is essential.
