Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. This role involves comprehensive work in industrial instrumentation, including design, installation, and commissioning in water-treatment or chemical-process environments.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing instrument indexes, datasheets, input/output lists, loop diagrams, and installation details. Selecting appropriate instruments and defining panel, cable, and termination needs will be crucial.

Additional duties include preparing purchase specifications, conducting technical evaluations, and reviewing supplier documents in coordination with the Supply Chain team. The role also involves supporting calibration, loop checks, factory and site acceptance tests, commissioning activities, and ensuring all final documentation is complete.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Strong understanding of process instruments and analyzers, various signal types, control interfaces, and proficiency in interpreting piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel for documentation and design tasks.
• Experience with instrument selection and practical field troubleshooting.
• Capability in clear, technical reporting in English.
• A minimum of five years of industrial experience in instrumentation and control engineering, with both detailed design and field commissioning exposure.
• Experience in water-treatment or chemical-process applications is highly preferred.
