Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Telecom and Network Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing industrial telecom and network solutions, including fiber-optic, radio/microwave, and IP communication systems. This role involves ensuring high standards of network reliability and security across industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Telecom/Networks Engineer, you will be tasked with developing comprehensive telecom and network designs adhering to industry best practices. Your main duties will include preparing architectures, specifying cable and link requirements, managing equipment schedules, and creating detailed technical specifications. Additionally, you will review supplier designs, focusing on network redundancy, segmentation, and automation system integration. Coordination with the supply chain team for technical evaluations and supporting factory and site testing, as well as overseeing network handover processes, will also be part of your responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related networking field.
• Strong expertise in fiber optics, IP networking, switching/routing, VLAN management, and radio-link fundamentals.
• Familiarity with industrial network security practices and ensuring network availability.
• Certification such as CCNA or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Proficiency in creating clear, well-documented technical reports and documentation in English.

Experience

The successful candidate should have a minimum of six years of hands-on experience in telecom and network engineering, particularly within industrial or utility network environments. Proven involvement in fiber-optic and radio/microwave project execution is essential to excel in this position.
