Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled System and Network Engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing IT network solutions for medium to large enterprises. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology and possess at least five years of relevant professional experience. This role is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and requires strong capabilities in network protocols, VPNs, VLANs, load balancers, and network performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

The System and Network Engineer will be responsible for:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining IT network infrastructure tailored for enterprise environments.
• Implementing and managing VPNs, VLANs, and load balancing solutions to ensure network efficiency and security.
• Monitoring network performance and providing strategic recommendations to reduce latency, increase throughput, and enhance redundancy.
• Applying in-depth knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP as well as SCADA/DCS protocols including MODBUS and DNP3.
• Supporting capacity management efforts to optimize bandwidth and improve LAN/WAN performance.
• Collaborating on ISO 27001 and IEC 62443 compliance, contributing to the implementation of information security management systems (ISMS).
• Troubleshooting complex network issues with a process-driven and analytical approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in network design and implementation within medium to large organizations.
• Certified CCNP or an equivalent professional certification in networking.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols and familiarity with SCADA/DCS communication protocols such as MODBUS and DNP3.
• Proficiency in managing VPN, VLAN, and load balancing technologies.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and IEC 62443 standards and participation in ISMS implementation.
• Strong technical expertise combined with a methodical and analytical mindset.
