Al Ali Engineering Contracting & Trading W.L.L. is seeking two dedicated Environmental Officers to join our team in Qatar. This role is crucial in ensuring that all engineering projects comply with environmental laws and regulations while promoting sustainability and responsible environmental management on-site.

Key Responsibilities

The Environmental Officers will be responsible for monitoring site operations to guarantee compliance with environmental standards. Core duties include conducting routine environmental inspections and audits, overseeing waste management, emissions, water usage, noise levels, and other pollution controls. They will also investigate any environmental incidents and propose effective corrective measures.

Maintaining accurate environmental records and documentation will be essential, as well as coordinating efforts with clients, regulatory authorities, and subcontractors. Those in this role will implement preventive actions and promote environmental awareness throughout the organization to support long-term sustainability goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Familiarity with environmental laws, regulations, and compliance standards relevant to engineering and construction projects.
• Experience in conducting environmental inspections and audits.
• Strong ability to monitor and manage waste, emissions, noise, and pollution control measures.
• Excellent investigative skills to address environmental incidents.
• Proficient in maintaining detailed environmental records and preparing reports.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, authorities, and subcontractors.
