Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Controller with a strong background in finance and accounting, preferably within the hotel and hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will bring between 7 to 10 years of relevant experience and be adept at managing financial operations in a high-standard environment. Experience working with branded or five-star hotels is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller with day-to-day accounting and financial management tasks.
• Assist in cost control and budgeting processes specifically tailored for the hotel operations.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with industry standards and company policies.
• Collaborate across departments to streamline financial procedures and enhance cost efficiency.
• Contribute to audit preparations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Proven background in hotel or hospitality financial management, including experience as an Assistant Financial Controller or cost controller.
• Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tailored to luxury or branded hotels.
• Strong analytical skills with a good command of budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with five-star hotels or internationally branded hotel chains will be considered a significant advantage, providing deeper insight into industry-specific financial challenges and solutions.
